- Pre-Service Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Skill Verification: EIPA 3.0+
- Knowledge Verification: EIPA:WT
- Renewal Timeline: 5 years
- Continuing Education: 90 hours per renewal cycle

Standards for Provisional Credential
- Is a provisional credential available? Yes
- What is required for the provisional credential? HS Diploma, 10 Contact Hours Annually, and completion of an ITP, sign language interpreter/transliterator certification, SLPI Advanced or higher OR pass the EIPA pre-hire screening
- How long can one hold a provisional credential? Three years
