May 17 Webinar
Excited for our third webinar of 2025?
“What is a code of ethics, and why is it important? Frequently, community and educational interpreters have differing views of ethics as it relates to providing services to Deaf and hard-of-hearing students in the PK-12 environment. This workshop provides an overview of the NAIE Code of Ethics and the RID Code of Professional Conduct – highlighting where the two are similar and where they are different. This webinar works to dispel misconceptions regarding the thought that educational interpreters should function similarly to their community interpreter peers. Lastly, this webinar will provide opportunities for participants to apply these codes of ethics to real life case studies.”
We hope you are able to join us for this informative webinar.
Thank you,
NAIE Board
