March 15th Webinar
Excited for our second webinar of 2025?
“This workshop will explore strategies for educational interpreters to effectively interpret with atypical Black Deaf students who also have multiple intersectional disabilities in educational settings. Participants will learn how to shift perceptions and adopt an intersectional approach when interpreting with Black students who also have multiple disabilities. Through interactive discussions and hands-on activities, educational interpreters will gain the knowledge and tools needed to create inclusive and respectful learning environments that honor atypical students’ perspectives and experiences. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a deeper understanding of how to authentically engage with these atypical Black students in meaningful discussions about their intersectional identities.”
We hope you are able to join us for this informative webinar.
Thank you,
