July 12 Webinar
Excited for our fourth webinar of 2025?
“This workshop is designed to support BIPOC educational interpreters as they navigate the complexities of the educational system. Often, BIPOC students who graduate and enter the educational system experience different challenges in adjusting to the educational interpreter workspaces and in the classrooms. Participants will identify and discuss the unique challenges of the BIPOC educational interpreter in diverse educational settings, addressing language barriers, cultural nuances, and power dynamics. Through interactive discussions and hands-on activities, interpreters will gain valuable insights in advocating for their successes as part of the educational team, promoting inclusive learning environments, and fostering collaboration with educators and teachers. This workshop aims to empower BIPOC educational interpreters to enhance their skills, build confidence, and thrive in their vital role within the educational system.”
We hope you are able to join us for this informative webinar.
